The e-book “Shacket Solveig” is a sewing pattern for women with interactive instructions.

A shacket is the perfect mix of shirt and jacket and your companion for the transitional period. With the Solveig you can choose between a zip or button placket. There are two lengths (short jacket and shirt length), three hem options (with waistband, with elastic, with facings), three neckline options (with hood, with collar, with hood and collar) and three sleeve ends (with cuffs, with elastic, with cuffs).

The Shacket Solveig is cut oversized in a shirt style, is sewn in one layer and has an optional yoke on the back, patch high and deep pockets and facings.

material

You can sew the Solveig from a variety of fabrics, depending on the season it is intended for. Muslin, chambray, viscose, lycra, seersucker, etc. are suitable for summer, and for spring and autumn you can sew it from summer sweat, flannel, corduroy, quilted, jeans, etc. For winter I recommend slightly thicker fabrics, such as coat fabric, teddy, double-face and the like.

In addition, you will need approx. 50cm of iron-on interfacing, e.g. Vlieseline H180 or H200, depending on the variant approx. 9 buttons or snap fasteners / anorak buttons, a separable zipper (max. 75cm), double-sided textile adhesive tape, a cord and some seam tape.

The e-book “Shacket Solveig” contains an interactive, detailed illustrated sewing instruction with a step-by-step explanation, the pattern in sizes 32-52 (chest circumference 77 cm – 124 cm) on A4 and A0 with layers, one with and one without seam and hem allowances, a real projector file with mirrored pattern pieces, and instructions for adjusting the pattern.
